Sunday Morning: Mum's Kitchen

Sunday Morning

Mum's Kitchen

Warm cinnamon, Hokkaido milk, honey and cedarwood.

You remember it before you open your eyes. Warm spice drifting down the hallway, the soft clink of a spoon against a cup, a voice humming in the next room. No alarm, no hurry, only the quiet certainty that someone was already awake, making the day gentle for you. This is for the kitchen you carry long after you've left it, and for the one you're trying to become for someone else.

Made for: slow weekends · missing home · gifts for Mum

Some kitchens never leave you. You just learn to light them yourself.
